Students without reliable computer access may be able to borrow devices from Dallas College through the CTE Loaner Laptop Program or a general device loan. These pages provide more information on these resources and help to find the best option for you.
Additionally, Dallas College offers a limited number of hotspot-enabled laptops available to students on a first-come, first-served basis.
Devices can be issued at any campus library. To qualify for a device, you must be currently enrolled in one or more credit or continuing education hours for the semester at Dallas College. If you withdraw from all courses, you must return your device.
All devices must be returned by end of each semester.
The CTE Loaner Laptop Program provides laptops to currently enrolled non-dual credit career and technical education (CTE) students who need them to successfully complete their semester. CTE students can borrow a laptop for the duration of the semester they are enrolled in classes.
After submitting your request, a representative from the Perkins Grant Team will contact you. Please bring your email reply when picking up your laptop.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the Perkins Grant Team at PerkinsCTEDevice@DallasCollege.edu.
